    GP 1200 ?????

    I have a 1997 gp 1200 My buddies say that it sits to far down in the front while riding. they the newer ones sit higher. is this common?? theres no water in the hull or anything. and also does anyone know where i can get a repair manual for this model

    The 97 GP 1200 model had a 0 degree thrust nozzle in it from the factory. The 98 and 99 models have a 5 degree nozzle. This nozzle makes the bow ride higher even while idleing. If you were to get a 5 degree for your 97, you would get the same results.... as well as gaining about 1 mph in top speed. It will have a tendency to porpoise a bit more though.

    It is a cheap mod with good results.
