    Killer hurricane wave

I finally found the picture from 2003 when Cajundude and I skipped work to jump hurricane waves in Freeport. At the start of the day the waves were 6-8 feet. A few hours later they were 12-14 feet. This is the day my ski sank to the bottom of the Gulf and I almost drowned - if it hadn't been for some unknown guy who came along on an XLT at the last minute.

That's me in the green circle. The picture isn't the greatest, but it's the only surviving copy. Look how tall the freaking wave is above me!

And here's my ski after it rolled up on the shore. Look at how tall and wide those suckers are:

What I want to know is; knowing what you know now, would you be out there doing that again?

Absolutely not. I will never, ever do that again. In fact, it was all that wave jumping that probably led to all my neck problems. But it was fun as hell while it lasted!
