Mikuni rounds (35L per hr) are around $26

Pentagons are around $65 new. Rebuild kits are a touch less than $20.

I only mention that because you need to figure in the cost of the rebuild, and the shipping of the carb and rebuild kit. May be cheaper to just buy NEW?

A round will be fine for most 650/750. (68-80 HP)

If you've got a beefed up 750 or 780 (85-90+ HP) the pentagon would be preferred.

The plan for the Sleeper project is to have about 780-800cc's, with a few mild internal mods, so I think the pentagon is probably the best way to go.

I thought you were after acceleration?

Isn't this the Wife's ski? They usually don't like to go really fast.

And I also forgot, you can also look at Snow Mobile parts for the fuel pumps. They use the same pumps, and are usually listed for cheaper. Just harder to find triple outlet VS. dual outlets.

But you can score a high output pretty cheap that way.

Yeah, its the wife's ski, and I am concentrating on acceleration, but big displacement means more torque. Thats why I am most likely to go with the 750 cylinders for their better low/mid power and boring them to 71.5mm for the big displacement. Should be a killer combination!
