    Bracket for gauges in the mirror Question???

    Behind the mirror theres 3 rivets. what do they hold on? if i drill them out could i put in bolts to secure a piece of aluminum

    They hold the factory mirror pod onto the hood... and yes, you can use bolts in place of them.

    alright sounds good... Is that what most do to attach the mounting plate for the gauges?

    I was thinking of doing that but once i took the mirror out i wasnt sure how to re mount it. Im guessing that the dynotune gauges arent very deep???

    There not real deep... but if your asking if I had to cut most of the mirror pod out... yes

    I was reading the post you made about the install. I didnt know you used real carbonfiber. I think im going to do something think STSPERFORMANCE did http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthre...ghlight=mirror post #40..... I going to try and reces the plate instead of it being flush like STS's as long as theres room. I aslo want toget white dynotunes and have the rings powder coated red

    That would look awesome Just don't get any of the powder coat on the very fine pitch threads

    You guys all have the dynotunes... how deep do they go? Just trying to plan it out and makes sure my idea will work
