Yamaha fzr eng in ultra 260x hull!
Ive been brain storming again, just wonder if this would be possible,, the ultra 260 motor isnt detuned nearly as much as the fzr motor, there seems to be a shortage of options for the kawi`s engine and with all the HP parts available for the yamaha this could be the very engine that would bring the ultra hull to its full potential,,im thinking 80 mph would be a lot easier to achieve with the big`ol 1.8L,, the headache would be the dash and gauges. unless you could make a dash plate and install the motec instrumentation screen now that would be sweet.

It's not even legal for gp, unless you change over the top deck to Yamaha.

I was thinking of doing this conversion instead of the x4tec and Bruce from Riva talked me out of it. They built a supercharged fxho motor in a vx and said it was similar to the gti builds where the hull just seems limited to around 70mph but unlike the seadoo the handling just wasnt there unless they locked it down and killed the speed.
