Dial indicator stand.
Out n about and came across this goodie !!!! All I need now is a dial indicator and I can check out of true on cranks! nice to have around if needed. If anyone needs to use it, let me know.

How about checking the TDC of the center piton and measuring the the depth of the other pistons? You don't need to use v=blocks for checking that do you? What would this stand stick too if the engine is aluminum? Wouldnt that tell you if it's out sync?

I've use a steel plate bolted to the jug to check with the heads off.
The v blocks are for checking the crank out of the cases.
