    Riva Waterbox on the T-X

Went to go pick up the T-X in Lynchburg early this morning and I couldn't resist running her one more time before winter starts to set in. Just too nice....It felt like early fall today. Sunny and about 72-73.

Made it back to the Cumberland river here in C'ville....put in.....ran her for about 10 minutes...sucked up a damn stick....and toasted my wear ring

Atleast nothing else happened...had it for two seasons and it's the plastic oem version. Figured it was about time to replace anyhow...so Scott, if you see this, I need to borrow your shop for a few minutes please.

Up until I screwed the ring up, the machine ran awesome with the new Riva waterbox. It was like a night and day difference from running with all the stock hardware in place...

I am very impressed with the sound and performance, but the level of difficulty for the install is not so easy, so I do wish Riva would look into this a little better when designing their parts. Overall....VERY SATISFIED! You really have to hear one in the flesh though.

To everyone - I have an entire box of stock parts we cleaned out of the hull. Talk about cleaning it up too...I was surprised how heavy the stock hardware is...Must be close to 25-30lbs.

One advantage of this above and beyond sounding like a blown 350 is that the new waterbox is very light and much smaller than stock, so down the road, making SC changes look to be easy. And I keep telling myself I'm done modding.....

Well, I am going to offload my stock stuff so if anyone is in the market for a very lightly used stock X waterbox, stock piping and some other stuff, please pm me and I will consider realistic prices.

Thanks again Marty and George for the hook up!!! You guys are great to deal with and customer service is second to none!!!

Here are a couple videos back at the house after a little cleaning..

Pet, if my wear ring wouldn't have died, I'll bet I could get even more top end. Adding the exhaust really made a big improvement.

Got your message and will grab another ring. I agree with what you said too.

Once in hand, I'll give you a call. Thanks! Jon
