Re: the MORE power to the TWO STROKE ! HERE are some pictures... now this is the kit you get for 46.00 bucks at "boost bottle industries.com "

they have several kits avail but the hard part is figuring out which kit will work for you engine.

Here how to do the calculations...

1 first determine the size of your engine (580 cc)
2 do some math..580 (engine size of one cylinder (290cc)

580/2 dived = 290
290cc requires two 150cc boost bottles to equal the required the amount of 290cc needed to make the power improvement. The two boost bottles I get is 150 cc each but that' okay because a little bigger is fine but not much bigger than 10 % of the volume for one cylinder

the only reason why some people say they don't work is because they cannot do the math! or too lazy to find the correct bottle for the engine

WOULD YOUR JET SKI WORK ..if you took the manifold of another jet ski of a different cubic inch ? of course not ..it's the same principle

The other important thing here is the length of the tube connecting you bottle to your engine. this tube cannot exceed the length of 14 inches..so if people don't "understand" these guidelines they are doing something wrong to start with and blaming the part is incorrect and unjust at best...educate yourself by talking to real people who have done it many times and not some one who doesn't know the basic principles!

Finally the length of line would be different according to engine size as well..

The big question is not which size bottles to use on a 580, it is why bother doing ANYTHING to a 580.

5. This looks like a good way to blown an engine up, if you ask me. Or at least, lean your ski out and burn holes in pistons.

Marvelous question Bob.

It is an interesting concept, though the term "mubo-jumbo" came to mind while I was reading their explanation of how it functions.

I could be wrong. It could be the secret we have all been missing. It could also make a 947 stick a piston just by walking too close to the boat with one of those bottles in your hand.

9. this would only effect holeshot, if it's even needed. Jetting goes out the window.

The concept is no different than a boost bottle intake system. I can see a need for drag racing, but if it IS like a standard boost bottle, then your jetting needs to go way, way up, and things get kind of crazy for tuning. PLUS, this so called "system" will not take into effect the amount of volume YOU ALREADY HAVE BUILT INTO YOUR MANIFOLD.

Nice concept, and probably would work if the manuf didn't already to the numbers ahead of time.

Think about it... it's a hollow tube, with a connector hose. You change the hose length to adjust your intake volume. You must also connect the 2 (or 3) cylinder intakes to make this work. You must jet up... way up.

No top end gains with any boost bottle.
