I have a core set of 785 cylinders. Two are sleeved and one is unsleeved but needs to be replated or sleeve to match the other two. One has some dings on the head gasket surface that would need to be fixed. The sleeves have some surface rust that should clean-up with a quick hone.Maybe they can be decked top or bottom to make them work with a 750 crank??

Sounds like a start to a future project!
If no one wants them, I would take them. I have been thinking about a short stroke, fast revving, exhaust valved, Fuji machine for a while now. This would get that project started.
I will PM my address for shipping.

I have decided that I have enough projects on the go at the moment. I wont be able to put these to use for quite a while, so... If anyone else wants them, I am not going to be taking these cylinders. Feel free to scoop them up and use them.

Bump, someone must want these jugs!

With the sleeves in the cylinders, you could bore them out to 72.0mm and make yourself a BIG BORE, exhaust valved, long stroke, beast!!! It would push 830cc's worth of Pro power!!!!!

I thought Lugs said you can't bore 785 clyinders. it will throw off the port timing. and it wil never run right. I mean you can bore them to whatever your want, but they must be brought back to spec with nicisal.

Or can you with sleeved cylinders and change the porting to match everything up again.?

With the sleeves you can bore them and use 750 or 780 pistons in whatever oversize you want. You dont need to nicasil the cylinders because they have sleeves in them and you are using pistons made for use in sleeved cylinders. As far as the port timing, you may need to do some slight work to realign the ports to factory specs.

The 785 uses the same piston size as the 750.

you can bore and renic the 785 clyinders to any size you want but they will never run to there full potential .
