Heat wrapping the Exhaust pipe??????
Hey guys wanted to ask would it be worth it, or good if you wrap the stock stainless exhaust pipe that comes of the manifold with heat wrap???
We always did this on our drag bikes to help lower the heat to the motor and belive it or not it gaves us a couple ponies.......
I was going with the home made rear filter and figured this would keep some of the heat away from the filtter.
Go easy on me guys I just got back into skis after 7 year lay off.....

I,ve wondered that also,Wraped the thunderheaders on my bike.It increased the antireversion properties by substaining the exaust heat till exit & cut by half the heat the pipe sheds

Mine is wrapped and did notice lower temp. inside the hull. Use hose clamps on both ends to keep it tight. You must paint it, cuzz the fiberglass goes everywhere.
