Riva Thru Hull Rear Exhaust Question.

I recently had the rear exhaust attached to my SHO Cruiser. Unfortunately, itís a little to loud for me and probably the city of Miami, lol. Is there anything that I can do to minimize the noise?

could you use the factory rubber piece with the flaps that sits on the standard outlet?
