    Arrow RXP 2006 Supercharger - metal clutch washers and also all NEEDLE PIN was missing

    Hello, I have a big problem--->
    When I took off Supercharger of my RXP 2006 to make repairs, I found out,that metal clutch washers and also all NEEDLE PIN was missing ....I opened oil cap and I saw metal shavings in oil filter !!! What can I do to make me sure,that I won't block engine and the oil pump! I thought 2 options: 1. to change the oil and filter and make to work for a while...And if there is residual parts,make them to filtrate,and after that to change the oil and filter again. The second option is: I will take off the engine and open ( http://fiche.worldofpowersports.com/...=13&A=139&B=12 ) because I saw,that there is an OIL SIEVE...and I am afraid,that this parts can be there!!! I need your competent opinions my friends !!!

    Have a good day!

    2006 Scers did not come with metal clutch washers..Unless that Scer was rebuilt with them in there, you dont have metal, you have ceramic and have lost the clutches...IMO the only real way your gonna get the engine cleaned out of all debri is to pull it out and tear it completely down and rebuild it...You can take the oil pumps off and rebuild them BUT if you have that much metal in the oil filter i would be a little worried and tear the motor down for inspection..Also your gonna need to locate all 40 of them needle bearings...1 lost bearing could be the fine line to disaster....

    Couldn`t agree more, take it out and take it apart. When one of my charger washers failed on my T-X, it goosed the motor. Thankfully it was repaired under warranty.

    Regards
    Alex..
