    Pro 785 head on a 750 or 780???

    Anyone ever tried to see if a 785 head will bolt up to either a 750 or 780 cylinder??? I know the bore of the cylinder is the same as a std 750, so if it would bolt up would this be a high compression option???

    What's the difference, is it the bolt pattern or cooling passages? Or both? Would it be possible to machine it to fit or is it too much of a difference to be feasible?

    Edit: Okay...I see the difference...the bolt holes are about as far away from lining up as possible. Definately not a possibility! And THAT is why no one else has done this before.

    Just wondering if it would have worked. There are a lot of different combinations of parts that are interchangable on the Fuji engines.
