    Here is the Dilemna (waterbox)

Taking out my waterbox and supercharger out today. Going to send my supercharger out to Jerry soon for Riva/Mcmasters and whatever else it needs.

I want to go rear exhaust with the TDR waterbox and try to keep my OPAS by drilling the hole right etc.

What should I do???? Try to do this or just have my current box modded and worked on and set back a bit like others have done.

    Help me out here.

    Thanks!

OK so how do I remove the box. I took off the clamps and the box slides back but there is still a portion inside of it which it will not come around off of. Does that one clamp hold that piece on?

    How do I remove this?

I mean I have loosened that clamp but that pipe assy does not budge! Am I suppose to remove that or do I take the back part of the waterbox apart?

How do I get that big ole clamp apart?

you should just be able to take that clamp off the exhaust manifold and that piece that slides into the waterbox will come off as well, probably making it possible to get your water box out

Ok, I got it all out after some wiggling and tapping. I dont have a 1/4 open end wrench to get the rear SC bolt out though. Any alternatives or do I just need to go to the store and get one?

I have all the special Hex wrenches but there is no room to get a socket on that one.

go get you 1/4 inch open end as you need it.

So your delima is thru hull or not, right.

I wish i could tell you to drill your hole higher and it would work for sure.

When removing the 08 waterbox you have to take the v band clam off not the gear clamps. if you've never had the clamp off itll be a pain as there is glue holding where the bolt slids through the shaft. so un do the nut then use a butane torch to lossen it up.

I just used a small hammer and tapped the end of the nut about 9 thousand times and it came loose. haha
