Riflebores use a common fuel rail with external fuel pumps. You can decide the fuel rate per hr. (pentagon or round fuel pumps)

Riflebores are easily removeable to adjust jetting. They can be removed from the spigot mount without having to unbolt them from the intake manifold.

Riflebores are spiral cut in order to help atomize the air fuel. How well this works???????

Both red tops and riflebores are annular discharged. (so are Black Jacks)

Red tops and Black jack use 12 holes to disperse fuel, while Riflebores 8 holes.

Sounds like the rifle bores are easier to tune, would there be a real difference in performance, or do they perform the same? Are the high and low screws the same on both carbs? Same rebuild kit?

I can't tell you which is better. Never had either brand dialed in on my ski, maybe someone else that's in the know will speak up.

I do know the rebuild kits and adj screws are the same as regular SBN. So the rebuild kits are easy to come by.
