Fizzle 4" intake
Has anyone experimented with the location of the filter? What's better, right up front or up under the glove box? I'm not worried about water just the most efficient place to get the most air.

Filter under the glove box is good or IN the vent tube & use a section of outerwear as the filter.
Get a 4" O.D irrigation 90 or 45 degree elbow from lowes or home depot for a few bucks, cut out a hole in the vent tube large enough so the ribbed irrigation tube snaps in place. I think it's 3.5" or so. http://outerwears.com/index.asp has 12" sections of marine grade outerwear material. Get 2 of them & put one on each side of the OEM vent tube so it's a filtered section. I ran mine like this for over 2 yrs..
Thanks to water4fire for the idea!
