Watercraft Illustrated Letters to the Editor.

    Mikeís letter (rangermbt5):
I really enjoy reading the magazine and I have an article idea that you guys might be interested in. I'm currently building a GPRXP conversion, which is a Yamaha GPR hull and a Sea-Doo RXP engine. I don't recall seeing an article on this topic in the past, and an increasingly large amount of people on greenhulk.net are building these. If you are interested in this idea, I have a build
thread on GreenHulk that has pictures of every step I have gone
through. Please let me know; I am sure this would be a big hit.

    Edís response:
This publication has a responsibility to promote safe aftermarket modifications that will not jeopardize its readers' safety, and, frankly, we have yet to see one of these GPRXPs that don't look cobbled together with duct tape and chicken wire. Sure the paint might be pretty, but some of the fabrication is dicey at best. __________________

They obviously know nothing of this side of our sport, and just let the whole world know it. How shameful.

They are just angry cause the hulk kicks there arse. And takes there readers away. They need tissues for there issues. The greenhulk is the popular mechanics of PWC.

Wow, what a jaxkass. This guy obviously has no clue. The next letter Mike needs to send them should include the reaction from this thread.

thats what I thought. He is representing the magazine and chooses to be immature about it? The first part of his response was KINDA legit, then he goes with duct tape and chicken wire?

I didnt know there was anything safe about modifying a machine, wether its a jetski, car or plane...Modifications USUALLY pertain to making something faster or more powerful which means the safety level decreases...BUT this is JMO....
