Does anybody know..........
What the hell happen here?................Got bored today decided to work in the garage and tinker around. I decided to do some checking on my 1500 single. I took the head off to inspect the pistons. This is what I seen on #3. 1 & 2 pistons are fine, all 3 cyls are fine. I've had this ski running on it's 5th season. everything looks fine. Now I have to buy a 90mm piston. Oh the rings on the piston are perfect.

HEAT! piston sagged. Whats the other 2 look like? Looks like the piston coating kept it alive.

These are the other two pistons. The head looks fine also. I looked at the plugs, nothing damaged.

Pete, whats your weather like now? (RAD) You 'had' good wash, now your lean!

Pretty clear to me Frank. It was lean. Remember two years ago when you brought it back with your triple and I had to readjust the carbs because you had them screwed up and it would not run worth crap. Yup, I had to richen them up and add 100 rpms on top. Thats why I tell you to leave stuff alone. Now tell everybody why you are taking a 80 mph single apart right now that has ran great for 5 years.
