? for the pump experts
Hi 3 vanes in my pump are missing chunks. I was wondering if any body has made any gains by grinding on the vanes. I'm just trying to figure a way to save the stator.

What year/model of ski? Which pump do you have? If a non-HO pump, you can probably pick one up for dirt cheap. I would not alter the vanes in any way. Others have done some testing on vane mods, and it did not turn out well.

Ok I guess I'll just change out the stators then.

If its a old style just pick one up here cheap. If you have the HO pump
its going to cost a lot more. If just part of the vane is chipped or missing its not really going to lose much speed. I have a few of the old style ones laying around if you need one cheap, or this could be a good time to upgrade to a HO pump.
