    The IJSBA is pleased to announce that Jean Bruno Pastorello has won the Formula One category of the World Jet Raid Championship. The team of Amador Ferre and Emmanuel Panoussis have won the Formula Two Category.

    Congratulations to all participants who participated in such a grueling challenge as well as to jet Raid CEO, Bruno Casa, his staff, and the Brazilian Jet Sports Boating Association for a successful event.

    Was that guy that stopped for him another racer? If so that's good sportsmanship, I take my hat off to him.

    Looks like a nice race, how long is it(distance)?

    That was one of our K38 Course Marshals. There were 3 course marshals on that incident, one flagging to oncoming traffic and the other doing the recovery. A third (myself) would come in and recover the downed race boat to clear the track as fast as possible while the racing continued.

    Are you sure that was a couse marshal, Shawn? Looks like they had a numbered race vest on and was pretty quick to get outa there. Regardless, it was a good recovery.
