Question about dealer incentives on remaining 09 FZR/S

Yamaha is running the $700 in free accessories incentive on remaining 2009 models until 03/01/10.

From the cyclebuy FZS dealer invoice report I purchased, it appears the dealer is responsible for $210 with Yamaha reimbursing the dealer $490 of the $700.

I'm down to final negotiations on an 09 FZS, and the dealer wants to keep the incentive. The wording is a little vague on the dealer report, just wanted to make sure I understood how this worked correctly.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Unless they are giving you a killer deal on the ski go to another dealer. What is their final price out the door just for the ski minus tax?

Also, that $700 promo and the 7.99 credit card financing yami has been running since late September/early October.... it was supposed to be over at the end of the year but it sounds like they are extending it.

I think $11,300 is a good price, you got a good deal.
I paid $10,714 out the door for just the ski with a cover.

I agree. 11.3k OTD is a good price with the trailer. I was getting about that price OTD here locally in October without the trailer....

The total incentive to the dealer is $490 IF they are level one status. It is less if they are level 2 or level 3. The levels are determined by meeting a qualifying order at the beginning of the season. That is a very good deal. I know a few people bought them cheaper during the summer but the incentives to the dealer were much better.

Thanks for everyones help on this, sounds like I'm back on a Yami. Early last spring I sold my heavily modified (but extremely reliable) 1997 GP1200, I'd had since new.

I was lost all summer. It'll be great to be back on the water. Already planning my mods.
