i was checkin around in there and the 787 premium engine is 1195 and the 787 standard in 845. whats the difference?

Apparently the difference is the two year warranty, the gasket set , and a bottle of oil.

Do these engines come with the rave valves or do you reuse the old ones?

maybe your beeper isn't hooked up or it's bad.

One of mine kinda beeps and unless you know it's gonna beep and really listen for it, you wouldn't know it had a beeper

    Electronic Modules

Concerning the 587 through 717 electronics. All of these engines through 1996 (and 97-2000 GTS, and 97 HX & SP) utilizing the smaller, rectangular shaped Electronics Module (as pictured below), DO NOT need any signal from the Electronics Module for spark. In other words, If one of these engines with this type of Electronic Module has a no spark condition, eliminating the Electronic Module as the culprit is as simple as disconnecting the Black/Red wire from the Electronic Module (wire running from coil to Module). If there is no spark with that wire disconnected at the Electronic Module end, then the Electronic Module IS NOT the problem. If spark returns (with that wire disconnected), then the Electronic Module is definitly faulty.

From what I can tell, this type of Electronic Module has nothing to do with PROVIDING spark...It only STOPS spark for rev limiting purposes and turning the engine OFF.

Newer models and larger engines Used MPEM's in which timing was controlled (except 97-2000 GTS, and 97 HX & SP), thus a no spark condition could be the MPEM, but it is more difficult to eliminate it as the problem.

Hey quickie here: I brought my seadoo to the shop to be winterized. When I got it back I noticed The mechanic left the fuel selector to fuel on. Should I turn the fuel selector to off for the winter, or was this done on purpose?
