    Merry Christmas...the stance!

DISH Network issued a statement regarding its use of the words “Merry Christmas” in a TV commercial. The statement reads: "Since being called a 'Patriot' on last night's edition of 'The O'Reilly Factor,' , DISH Network has received an outpouring of both support and displeasure from people across the country over the use of the phrase 'Merry Christmas' in a holiday greeting to customers. DISH Network acknowledges and respects the diversity of faith in our country, but at the same time recognizes the overwhelming majority that celebrate Christmas. We cannot imagine that Americans of all faiths would not want to embrace the spirit of the holiday and join us in wishing Christian Americans a very Merry Christmas."
I hope more companies take a stance and bring Christmas back!

there should be laws to stop this crap. For an immigrant to come to canada or the usa they MUST learn english at there own expense and you DO NOT complain about are national Holidays and hold a steady Job. These are just some of the bigger issues to me. I just cant stand listening to people who immigrated here cause are countrys are so much better then bitch about how it isn't like their country Im not racist or imposed to immigration as that how the country came to be. but if someone has a problem with are countrys I have no problem throwing them back on the boat.

Best Buy feels Christmas is wrong!

    http://biggovernment.com/2009/11/27/...day-in-fliers/

Sigh, it only gets worse....According to Best Buy, Christmas is wrong and Eid Al-adha (I had to looks at this twice to make sure I was spelling it right!) is acceptable! This to me is another slap in the face. I'd like to consider myself tolerant to other religions and I don't mind the fact that companies and media would like to wish people Happy Eid Al-adha day or whatever, but not at the expense of the holidays the majority of people have celebrated here for 100's of years! Heck, if I went to Afghanistan and told a large group of people Merry Christmas, I'd probably get stoned to death!

thanks for heads up. ill be returning my camera to them today. I for one am not a religious guy, but 100's of years of celebration of Christmas with Santa is what's right. how do kids celebrate eid al hada? sounds like Muslims taking over our country to me.
