    docking ? / accessories ?

Okay so this may sound really dumb but bare with me....I finally got my two skis, 09 rxp/rxt and I want to make sure I get everything I need...I am in the process of making a list of stuff for people to get me for x-mas, and I would like to take advantage of this time to get everything I need.

I have already asked for toys like water skis, but I want to make sure I get the important things...below is a list of questions I need help with

    1) Do my 09 rxp and 09 rxt come stock with fire extinguishers? If not, which ones did you get that will fit in the "pre-made" compartments?

    2) I asked for 4 docking bumpers, 2 for each ski and they look like this...

and I have already asked for water ski rope, do I need some other type of rope to make docking quicker and easier? I only asked for one rope, and I would like to have both sides of the ski tied off for my security (so 4 ropes total)...what docking ropes do you use?

    3) I live in tx, is there any other things I need to be legal?

I just want to get something thats not to expensive but will work well and quickly while not taking up to much of my storage space

good idea about the whistle....I would really like to have a docking line just like the one you listed but with a clip on one end instead of the loop so I can quickly clip it to the eye on the back of the seadoo, then put another one in the front storage box and close the front storage box to keep that line secure

Dont know about all that other stuff, but for docking I use those streachy ropes, kinda like bungee cords, dont remember what they are called, got mine at Academy. They work real well especially in areas were there ski gets moved around alot, like from boat traffic.

For docking I have two of these:

    http://www.overtons.com/modperl/prod...ID=1008&r=view

They do 'ok' but will pop right off when the waves start coming. Ive found that laying a regular large fender sideways between whatever youre docking to works best. There is a place to tie off right under the bars.

For lines, I like to use lines that have a pre made loop on one end then tying a metal hook where ever you want it. You can get those at walmart for like $7 or so.

Yea, I saw those....I went with the ones from the link in my first post...they have the hook on the bottom with a small rope that you hook to the "eye" of your skii...I think with the tension in the rop it should keep that hook tight thus keeping the bumper on during waves
