    rev limiter issues?

checked power valves. all is well. carb is good but what i am finding out if i don't hold the throttle wide open it will get up to speed. have to keep it at about 3/4 open. i believe it is hitting the rev limiter with the wot as it goes back to idle and once throttle is released after a few seconds it will "reset" and be able to get back up to speed. Is there any way to fix this issue without replacing the computer? I am under the impression that is what controls the rev limiter. Please let me know.

Better do a compression check you shouldnt be on the rev limit its 7400 the ECU controls the rev limit and a stock boat wont get there without mods to the motor those xll only rev around 7050

How about answering the questions asked of you in the other thread you started on this very issue?

You have yet to answer how you checked the PV's in the other thread. They are a likely culprit but for some reason you're not giving up any info. We also suggested you have a lean problem and asked you to check a few things. Did you?

I have a mechanic who had the ski apart and I suggested the power valves and he checked them and they check out. I wish someone was local near tampa that was knowledgable that I could go see from the forum to resolve my issues.
