fizzles intercooler will flow better ...

and an x ecu with an x charger is a simple way to go ...but it needs to be an 07 or newer 215...to work ..the ecu pins are different in the earlier years...

the riva ecu is way better than a x ecu but but but ....you need to upgrade the valve treain ..tobe safe with the new 8600 rpm rev limit..and it is mapped for 50 poun injectors...

fizzle intercooler x charger ..riva ecu and mods that go with ..80 mph

Good question, which has been debated at great length.

I feel that it depends on what the intention is.

And remember Rotax do a good inter-cooler too.

If the air moves too fast through the cooler, it will not get chance to cool the charge down before it exits the cooler, too slow, and it acts as a restriction. But remember the air has to be generated first, and its volume will decrease as it leaves the cooler too.

I have looked at them all, and my idea is to make it blend well with the rest of the equipment in use on the ski.

I recently changed charge cooler based upon the inner diameter of the connection pipe ends. I needed an extra 1/4 inch to compliment the rest of the inlet tract.

Rich that is some great information....I have noticed that my RR IC worked the best with 11psi at 8100rpm...and the X ic works great with the ET charger 16 psi at 8500rpm...still testing
