    Fuji Electrical

I decided to bring the electrical box and stator into the house today where it is warm and use my DMM to make sure everything is in spec. The stator specs out almost perfectly. The question I have has to do with the coils. They are supposed to measure 3.3k from the ground to the secondary. I am getting about 8.1k-8.5k on each of them. If I remove the plug boots each drops almost exactly 5k to within spec. The boots are the NGK TB05EMA boots. Are these supposed to be 5k resistor type boots? And are they the correct ones? Is there any advantage to changing these to a different type?

Yes, they are supposed to be 5k ohm's ,and yes you need to use the resister boots.

    Right ^^^^^^^^

However, if you're going to use a PRO 785 CDI, you'll want to replace the flywheel and stator from a 750/780 into your conversion.

Yeah, I think I have already found a 750 flywheel and stator. And, of course, if not you always seem to have what I am looking for! (Jetinetics flywheel???)

You had 2 unless you sold one of them on Ebay.

You had a Jetinetics and a RAD flywheel.
