Intake grate was just sanded down and leveled with the bottom of the ski. No extra drag in the water.

Extra air was Franks(Peteshauling) idea. I just used a whole saw to cut two circles out and then just used a dremel to oval them out. The heat comming out is noticeable when riding and instead of it exiting just under the seat this helps.

Does water not come in ?
I'm thinking of doing a 4" pipe out the back and even with the grab bars. I have an attwood 4" blower that will blow air out of it. Then I'm going to use an outerwear pre filter.

Still deciding location on back and whether I should do one 4" or 2 3" kind of like yours.
Did your grate grind give you noticeable speed or did you do it with other mods.

    Daren,

That paint job is AMAZING. I have always wanted a job like that but have not been able to find someone to do it to my satisfaction and am still looking. How many hours is in that job?

Whats your top speed in 1-2ft chop? and does the cut down grate cause poor hookup in such conditions?
