hey guys my friend and i just bought an sho 2009 for 14K with a trailer, tube, tow rope, 3 life jackets, 5 year warrenty, coastguard kit and registration and taxes included.
what do i need to worry about with this ski? what gas should i use? it hasnt touched water this year, should i put winterize it? it has been flushed, so should i put anti freeze in it and where does it go? how do you recommend to break it in.

The service manual and the search feature on this site will answer all your questions. Congrats on the new ski.

Hi Justin, congrats on the new ski
Using 89 octane pump gas is all that's required on your ski.
I never winterize my skis. I just crank them up every couple of weeks for 20-30 seconds.
Here's my break in method.
Warm the ski up and start doing some 3/4 throttle hole shots. Hold the throttle pinned for 10-15 seconds. Do this 6 or 7 times. Then do a few full throttle hole shots... pin the throttle 15 seconds. Then just ride around normally, varying the throttle. Don't keep the throttle in one place for too long. Let the engine get used to all the RPM ranges, including WOT.
Break it in HARD!!!

Hey guys how does your unleaded get rated.
In AU we have 91 unleaded then 95 premium then 98 premium
Just trying to get some understanding on what fuel should be used on stock and modded ski's.
I found with my fxho running 91 is revved allot harder and with 98 it did not rev as hard and felt like it ran hotter .
Congrats on new ski.
