    RXP-X vs RXT-X

    Hi guys,

Probably a Duh question, but are the pumps and props on both the same?
The pump part number is the same 267 000 084 for both but the prop number for the P-X is 267 000 356 and the T-X is 267 000 408.

If the props are different are they interchangable?

the pumps are the same thats correct and the props are the same size just a little different pitch, yes u could swap them from either ski to see if u needed to add pitch to a rxtx u could put a rxpx prop in, the props also will fit rxp and rxt 215 models as well.

    RXP-X vs RXT-X

I'm not really clear on pitch changes.
If I put the T-X prop on my RXP-X (I have the the 4" air, 8400 ECU and the R&D grate) would that be a waste of time or something worth trying?
Ultimately I'm looking for the best hole shot and bouy to bouy accelleration.

the TX has a little bit smaller pitch on the prop due to the boat being heavier and bigger, so putting it on a PX u would lose a little top speed but pick up accel.

Could be worth trying. With my X I took a bunch of props some I had from my old limited class RXP and just spent the day testing to see what each one did as far as topspeed, speed within a short distance, rpms, and how it pulled out of turns.

    RXP-X vs RXT-X

    Hey guys,

    Another goofy question.
The pump in this picture is listed as from an 08 RXT-X with 10 hours on it but it has a hose coming off the pump cone for the OPAS.
If I put this pump and cone on an RXP-X can I just just plug the hole?

Yes. If you have OPAS paddles raised up, with the little white blocks, or have it removed, you don't need that. It uses water pressure to raise and lower the OPAS paddles, making them "speed" sensitive.

Just plug it good and use a nice hose clamp.
