NFL Playoff predictions 09
What are your predictions?
At the beginning of this season, I predicted a San Diego and Philadelphia Superbowl. I would have gone with Minnesota from the get-go but needed to see which Favre was going to suit up first.
San Diego/Philly is certainly still possible, although not probable.
What do you guys think?
There are still some close races in several divisions- NFC and AFC east as well as the wild card race for both conferences.

San Diego is the one team I feel like can knock off the Colts, not saying they will. NFC is sooo screwed up. Saints have been winning yes, but they have not been dominant latley. Just when you thought the Vikings are it, they loose to Arizona.Playoffs roll around you never know, just look at Arizona last year, I still think they got robbed.

I blame the Vikings offensive line for that loss. Everyone can have a bad game..
San Diego owns Indy in the playoffs. That has been my tought as well.
I think that the Saints are a very good team, HOWEVER, they have had a VERY easy schedule and have struggled to beat some very BAD teams. They should have lost to the Redskins except the kicker blew a 26yrd field goal. The only real test they have had was against the Patriots and the Pats defense didnt show up for the game so...
I think that the Eagles will win the East. The Packers will win a wild card spot. Beyond that, everything in the NFC is up in the air.
I see New England and San Diego in the AFC championship. New England hasnt played well for the last few weeks BUT they enter the playoffs better prepared than anybody. They are a well coached and talented team that has been there year after year. You cant count them out.
I dont see Indy going all the way. I dont think I see the Saints going there either.

Wish I had picked him up in fantasy. He has had the best matchups for the last three weeks and down the stretch. Since they wont be going to the playoffs, they will be playing right up until the end and hell be getting lots of carries
As soon as LJ was released, I picked HIM up instead of charles!
I dropped him like three days later when I realized that his role in Cincy was going to be riding the pine mostly.

I don't see how NE will make it! They got beat by an average Dolphins team and then almost got beat the next game because Moss was having a temper tantrum and quit running routes. Their defense is average at best also. I hope nobody is betting on them.

Let's talk about the real deal teams. Philly, Saints, Vikings, SD, Colts.
GB, Patriots and other teams are just wasting energy
