SpeedFreeks Racing Light Weight RXP Top Deck
Just wanted to share some pics of my latest project/build.
We hand built this light weight top deck in my shop from start to finsh we used an 05 rxp as a plug to make a mold so that we could make the part that your looking at in the pics. We have lots of hrs into this project and as you can see it was well worth the effort.
This light weight top deck is going to go on my black and yellow 07 rxp that has run 87mph in the past with using only a RUDE 1 SUPERCHARGER. My goal is to build a 90+mph rxp for this summer. I estimate on losing a total of about 125lbs off of my ski after doing some other stuff to help lighten it up.

looks good...i know how to work fiberglass but what a pain.. so i feel yours...so now that you have the hard part done.. how much for one..
i think...125 lbs is alot for just the top deck .and a few other things....but then i have never weighed a stocker...
90 mph should be doable ...with the new chargers ect ..i have seen a few guys run 88 around here....the lighter weight will help you more in acceleration......than top speed..so hold on for the hole shot
good luck on reaching your goal... puhing the limits helos all of us...

looks very good Erik
the light rxp topdeck save max 70 lb, but it is a good start, and the handling gets better as well with the lower gravity center
our lightweight topdecks are 48 lb, Dan (JD1) has used one of our top decks on his drag race turbo rxp, and he win the Hydrodrags
