    fast take off

    sorry guys i know this is a dumb question but when i try and take off fast i just hit rev limiter then start to pick up speed if i try to not hit limiter then take off fast its alot slower how do you guys take off fast

    well if slow time for your area I would pull pump and send off prop to one of the prop rebuilders out there and have them go thru it also install new wear ring -if ya don't what to do pro at least install new ring.those big seadoo pumps eat wear rings

    Could be the wear ring or the carbon seal is worn.


    At 142 hours it will be due for a replacement.

    As most are speculating,Yes wear ring..But Also you stated you had 142 hours on it.As long as you are going to pull the pump have the Carbon seal looked at and replaced as nessesary...This would be a good time to do that..You would hate to have done all that work to go out and sink your boat because the carbon seal is worn out..
