Fitting cover on 06 RXP with UMI steering
It fits horribly. I know this is a known issue.
How have other people got it to fit better? The main issue is that the bars are much longer than stock. I cut them down a bit but they are still too long and now im starting to get closer to the bend. Will an X cover be any better? LMK. Open to suggestions. It looks and fits awful as-is.

I'm not sure that an X cover will work either if you have 32" bars

I had to cut a little slit on both sides of the cover so it would fit with UMI steering and renthal bars.

I dont remember what size the renthal bars were. I bought it as a complete setup from someone. Ive already cut an inch or more off of each side and it still doesnt fit. Im starting to get closer to the bends now. Maybe its time for a different set of bars. Ill go out and get an exact measurement of it once the 14" of snow all around it is gone

James, When I installed the Riva handle bar extentions on mine and Missys skis i had to go with the 07+ cover..They fit perfect..NOW i dont knwo what the measurements for the UMI VS The Extentions are..BUt if they are the same then an 07 + cover will fit..
