    Dynotune boost gauge in mirror.

It's been an idea of mine for over a year now & I finally got around to rigging this thing up. With all the different gauge mounting ideas going on for the last 2 yrs I always wanted to mount one in the mirror while still keeping the actual mirror in use. It only took 1.5 hrs figure out & do and I don't know why I didn't get around to doing it sooner.

With the dynotune gauge it will only work on the right side or else the display will be upside down on the left side. Out of the box, the gauge is pretty much out of harms way for the normal rec rider that doesn't get too wet. It might even be good for the harder rider but in the ocean jumping waves and all that it would be wise to seal/silicone it all up 1st.

The mirror is upside down because it's the left side mirror in the ride side frame, I don't know what happened to the right side mirror..

My gauge is brain dead I think because all it does is show a "dot" & nothing else. But you get the idea...

This is the 1st time doing this so It could be a cleaner install I guess.

    whatya think?

Thanks guys, I wish it was working so I can put it in my mirrors. These are just mess around mirrors I bought for this specific reason last year.

It looks like the glass is cut but it isn't, it's just a cleared spot that could have been done a little neater.

Did he keep the mirror in with the round gauge?

Hmmm, I have a round marine boost gauge too....

Here's all I get on the gauge. Is it brain dead?

In these pics all In have connected are the brown + & the blue - nothing else, but when it was all connected together it was still just a DOT. The cables from the sensor were corroded & rusty. Does the whole thing need to be assembled to get a "0" reading or what?
