    15F rev's?

I just bought a second hand 09 15F with 55 hrs on it.

The first owner had put on it a K&N filter after taking out the original air box, it also has a solas 14/21 prop on it.

It hooks up and accelerates great ( compared to my old 2 stroke) but top end I can only get max 61 to 62 out of it on flat salt water with low fuel.
The tacho shows 7 grand with 2 small bars at 61 on the GPS.

Do these numbers sound ok for this ski as I thought they were good for maybe 64 to 65?

    Regards Matt.

Matt, my 70 hr 12f (same hull, less engine) will GPS 54(MAX)....at 70F air and a lake elevation of 1135 feet with a 135# rider.

So I think you're doing pretty good at 61-62. Wanna trade? HaW!!

Oh.....and I don't always believe every number I read on here, either......and I'm looking for a good 15f, keeping the 12f, so that says something, methinks!!

    Sounds about right.
My 15F went 61.8 mph stock. 63 with an airfilter and 63.2 with a Solas impellar 13/20. All speeds with Gps both directions and low on fuel. You are not that far off, there are always speed variations between two identical skis.

the 14/21 prop is a little steep for only having the intake kit on it.

Sounds right! For a little more, go with the R&D rideplate!

The R&D rideplate will give you 2.5-3 mph if you fill the bolt holes. The turning ability is also greatly improved. I avg'd 65-66 with the riva kit minus exhaust. My lake is 500 ft altitude, and my tach would show 7k and flicker the 4th bar on tach with a 13/20.5 impros spec impeller.
