    Chicago Vacation info

Six of us are heading to Chicago on the 27th for three nights and staying downtown. All of us are in our late 30's and are looking for some tips on things to do.

We are staying near the ESPN Zone.

Where is the best Chicago pizza downtown?
Where is the best place to watch the Monday Night football game?
What is the best way to get to and from the United Center?
Where can we see some live bands on a Monday or Tuesday night?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Flights south were way too much for 3 nights. We figured 3 nights without kids, it doesn't matter where we go.

True Chicago pizza is not mainstream, the best is not at a chain...

You find the best pizza at a little hole in the wall place, where the inside is 120 degrees because the oven takes up more than half the room...And there is no name on the window, its just says PIZZA.

The guy making your pizza hasn't washed his apron in 2 years, its stained red...The ingredients are hand made by the 15-year old girl that works there after school...

Deep dish is served in a box, while the thin crust is wrapped in brown or white paper, with the grease making it clear by the time it gets to you...And if you pick it up yourself, you have a cooler next to the counter with 2-liter bottles of off brand drinks, and a few 6-packs of Miller or Old Style...

Each neighborhood has them, and its one thing you don't argue about in town....Never argue about Pizza (because everyone has their favorite), and never argue about baseball

And I can say this.......it will be the best pizza you ever had.
