    urgent advise on ignition

    Hey guys, i have a 1998 xp limited and the ignition module in my mpem is stuffed i am am thinking of going msd total loss. what are your thoughts? is it much work to install and how good are they? if i am going to go ahead and get the msd i need one befor 3rd of jan as im flying back to nz to use my ski

    any help is always appreciated

    I ran a total loss on a standup for a while. Performance gain was significant and so was the PITA.

    On a 98 you can convert to a MSD 4255 Enhancer, and keep the charging circuit.

    so how does that work? if the ignition bit in my mpem is stuffed will i be able to bypass that and wire in an "enhancer".
