    R&D Extended Fuel Pickup

My R&D Extended Fuel Pickup showed up today. I've read a bunch of posts on how easy this is to install and figured I'd share my pics of how it went.
Pretty straight forward with the R&D directions. The one thing to make note of is when you put the fuel pump back into the tank rotate the assembly so that the fuel outlet is at a 45 degree angle to the ski (as your looking at it from front to back). OR, make it easy on yourself and just use a sharpie and make a mark on the tank so it goes back in the exact same location as it came out.
Hopefully these pics along with the directions that come from R&D may help someone that hasn't done this mod yet.

the only clip for the plug is on the top. the plug is a snug fit for sure. it's tight but should wiggle of with a little work.

When doing this mod i bent the sensor arm back a little ,so the Annoying fuel buzzer dosn't go off when you still have over 20 litres left in .
I believe tbm are also now doing a fuel extender piece , i think it is cheaper than r&d too.

    Yes nice write up.

I had my dealer order and install one while it was being set up last Spring. Never got "proof" however that it was installed.

Anyway to confirm that it was installed by my dealer?

Not that I can think of... The only way I can think of is to pull the assembly up out of the tank and have a look......which pretty much defeats the whole purpose of having the dealer do it in the first place...
