anybody ever have a section of their hull tear off the bottom of their ski? can something like that be re-glassed or is the hull garbage? do they make a carbon fiber hull for an rxp?

Yes Skillit it can be repaired. Wouldn't a carbon fiber hull be nice.I haven't seen one yet but with all the other carbon fiber parts being made i'm sure we will see one soon.

I heard of this happening to almost a whole fleet of rental GTIs. BRP flew some guys in from canada to fix it on the spot.

Steve, i have heard of it happening a couple of times. In fact, i think it happened to Johnny Annick so you may want to ask him about who repaired his.

It usually starts middle of each side outside the strake. It's alot more involved than you think... Remove engine and gas tank to start the repair... If you don't remove...it wull last 4 hrs. Have fun, I did...
