How about a V6 In A Pro.
Polaris/Mercury 2.5 EFI, DeWayne Ogden, Jesup, Georgia
Yes, that's a real 2.5 Merc EFI shoehorned into this Polaris.
DeWayne Ogden who is a long time truck pulling champion, believes anything can be improved with more horsepower! He's got just that with a Merc V6 built by Larry Mumford of Outboard Performance.
Look close and you'll see that the motor has to lay on its side to fit under the seat. Besides adding more power, the addition of a Brucato SVS also helped solve some clearance problems. Power is transmitted to the stock pump through a gilmer belt drive.
If the sharp looking graphics don't give this rocket ship away, The unmistakable rumble of the monster Merc puts all other water rats on alert.
The acceleration of this water toy has to be seen to be believed.
DeWayne says top speed is whatever it takes to be in front!

Merc in Pro
O.K. beerdart you better have all you information ready b/c you know who(AL) is going to have to build one! LOL . the torque must be awesome. i was thinking about putting my last years pro street small block 850hp on the bottle(pictured at left) in a genesis but i have a better and more realistic idea. i am glad there are freaks out there beside some of us on here that think outside the lines.
i wonder what prop he has in that boat a 26/34 LOL!!!! there is not even trim tabs, drop nozzle or even a pump support on that thing.

That is an SL650 hull. It is not a Pro hull. It is neat for many that have never seen it before but that contraption is at least 6 or 7 years old. It was way ahead of its time. That's for sure.

That puts my SL 650 sleeper idea to shame, but the pro paint job looks decent, too bad it gives it away. I would of left it looking stock. Yep its a 650 with a intake grate and a ride plate..........LOL
