    RXP prop Q?

    Hey gang,
My Ski GPS'd last week at 72 with about a full tank of gas bobbing up and down like crazy (RE's are on the way)
Mods are: ride plateholes filled, 2.5 wedge, Riva air intake, riva grate. I have a stock prop on it right now that has been trued. 8160 rpms is max I have seen.
My Q is: Do you think I will get a noticeable gain by putting on a 14/19 concord? Will that get me to 80? (joking) or should I leave it alone?
    Thanks, Steve

i've ALWAYS had faster speeds with a SOLAS prop than ANY repitched or trued stock prop.... the SOLAS props just tend to be fast props, i'd say go for it and get one!! far better acceleration than stock props also...

of course whatever you do it may require some more pitching and tinkering to get it just right

The stock prop is garbage. Get a Solas 14/19R on there and you will be amazed.

Steve- Keep that Solas you have too! I have a feeling that you will end up putting it back on in the spring with your future mods! If you get the Solas 14/19r, let Danny pitch it for ya to get the rpms and whole-shot you want.

Steve I think 72 is very good for what your mods are. I put a STOCK impeller back on a ski that had a SOLAS 14/19 on it and it lost about 1 MPH so I think the solas is good for at least .5 to 1 MPH top spped and acceleartion is MUCH better with SOLAS

    Steve,
I have the same mods you have except for the wedge..Havent GPSed my ski yet but with the 14/19 and Jerrys magic touch on the prop the ski has wicked acceration.Had a buddy of mine on the back cause he wanted to go for a ride ,gave it half throttle and he damn near fell right off the back.
So ya i would definatly go with the solas 14 /19.

    Scott
