    700XL Shuuting off

    A friend of mines has a 700xl, when he rides it, it shuts of on him, He changed all the electrical on it, When it shuts off an try to start it back immediately it will start an run for a few minutes an shut off again.
    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Check his compression. Many compression gauges are not accurate, so the important thing is to make sure that both cylinders are within 10 psig of each other.

    There are many other things that can cause this problem such as electrical, fuel delivery. oil line falling off causing a seizure, etc.

    Loss of compression is the first test that I would run because it is the simplest. And unfortunately it is also very common to see a loss of compression in one cylinder.

    Also, advise him not to run his engine unless he is running it to determine the cause of the problem. It will only get more expensive to repair if he continues to run it the way it is running now.

    Thanks i will let him know and get back to you guys later with the results.
    It doesn't stall like its starving for gas it just shuts right off.

    Many times when a PWC just quits randomly, it's due to a loose battery cable or loose ground connection on the engine block.
