    Quick Honda Boats

Hey I was just curious to what kind of speeds you guys have been getting out of these honda's. They don't seem to have many parts on the market. Any 70mph+ boats and if so how'd you guys get them there?

My 2003 R-12X usually reaches 70+ speeds twice a year: in the spring when I tow it to the marina and in the fall when I tow it back to the garage.
On the water it does 61.7, this number has never changed in the last four years.
Yes, the mods exist. Nitro, Mac, etc...
Nitro's mods are big $$$$$$$$$, they still won't put you in the 70+ category.
Mac's mods... well, I'll better keep my opinion to myself.
The Honda is not about top speed, it's about handling, reliability, quality, total control.

I have seen one with a larger turbo setup. It was nice looking but I'm not sure how fast it was.

I had a guy at the beach the other day saying it was flying....I asked how fast...he said "it should be about 68-70mph man".....I said lets go for a run.....He hit it, I hit it and immediately bounced in front of him and just kept pulling and pulling....maybe in the neighborhood of about 13+ skies!.....All this and my intake grate was dangling off of one bolt! I must have been doing around 60mph top!
