High flow hood
Does anyone have any opions on the Riva high flow hood? Does it work? If so are the gains noticable?

Jim, i used to run one on my RXP and had it direct connected to a 4" kanaflex feeding my supercharger. It worked pretty good as the engine was ingesting cooler outside air. Then the Riva rear air intake came out and it out performed the hood setup so i switched.

FYI, the Riva high flow hood has been discontinued.

Thanks Jerry. I have a chance to get one cheap but didn't know if they made much of a difference.

Jim, if you can get it for a good deal you should jump on it. They work good when you direct connect the kanaflex from the hood to the supercharger.

I wish I could use this hood without losing the storage is the rear air bad for water intrusion? I ride the great lake and it get pretty ruff at times. Wish there was a better way toget cool air to the motor with getting water in it lol.....

I'm not sure what that will do. The kanflex goes right to the high flow hood and draws air from there. What will putting flow rights in the storage bucket do?
