    Lightbulb High RPM, Is it normal ?

    When it's at full speed on the spot,my jetski is getting high critical RPM..Is it normal?

    You should be right at 8100 RPM at full throttle

    I think he means it cavitating, full speed on the spot I guess means full throttle from standstill.

    No it not normal you prob need a new wear ring. R88

    Around the prop in your pump you have a plastic wear ring. over time it wears away and leaves a gap between the prop and the ring this causes cavitation so when you hit the throttle the engine just hits the limiter instead of launching and going to 8100.

    Take the ski to your dealer and have them fit a new wear ring. R88
