New pool, place your bets now!

Who will grenade they're GTX pistons first? Palerider (since he claims to be a time bomb, lol)or myself? I'm installing an RXP ecu shortly, intake, and IC. I also have 206 hours on my ski. I'm tempted to see how much power i can add to this engine until it pops! PR how many hous do you have and who do you think will pop first? I don't know how many members have had an 03 GTX with a piston failure but i'm sure there's a few. Who's gonna go first?

    tick tock tick tock....................

although blowing your engine is slightly more convinient in a pool as opposed to a mile offshore.

Not a pool you really want to win. When a piston lets go you end up with a LOT of other damage. I bent valves, cracked valve guides, broke rockers, split the block open and bent the con rod when cast piston let go. Do you think Seadoo would have put expensive forged pistons in the 215 engine if they thought they could get away with the cast ones

01X: I don`t think I`m going to grenade a piston first!, I think the connecting rod bearing will starve oil and break a rod. I think Red Devil ran cast pistons for like 2 years or something like that...PR...

Trust me CRS i don't want to win but i might not have a choice in the matter. My hours are getting up there. i'm sure if it let go while i was doing max speed in the chop it would get interesting too.

I told a mechanic down the ocean that i had 206 hours and he sounded suprised that i hadn't blown up yet. Then he listened to it run and was amazed at how healthy it sounded. I can't complain either, i mean the thing runs like a top. I just know i'm running on borrowed time. I'd like to get a SCIC engine and keep mine on the side for parts or maybe have that one built. We'll see what happens when i do some more mods.
