What Turbos are used On the Ultra 250/60x

This thread is for the Ultras that were Supercharged and now going to look at Turbo options like me.
    What Turbo Brand ?
    What size Turbo?
    Will it be internal wastegate?

    Info all helpful

Get with TiAL, ask them. They have a good one for 1.5L watercraft and they also have a external waste gate that is "water cooled" designed primarily for watercraft use. You can get alot of info from them.

An internal wastegate becomes too small when the volume of exhaust gasses coming from the motor exceeds the efficiency of the wastegate size. In the case of any sized water craft motor, that isnt the case, an external waste gate would be overkill due to the relatively low exhaust output of any kawasaki motor, big bore or otherwise . Internal has been the choice for many of us running Turbo race sleds. Goodluck

    Turbo Options ??

Skip i looked at Tial website ,could not find the Turbo for the Watercraft.

I see guys have used Garrett and IHI turbos.

The conversion guys using seadoo engines Turbo,,, just confused me more.
So many options been used .

I just want to use it in closed course mainly.

    Thumbs up

Garret GT28RS .60AR is a ball bearing oil lubricate and water cooler setup. Is a internal wastegate but we block it and used a external one. This setup is working very good for us. Depending and you'r mods, you may not have any lag. Hope this help you.
