    Moving exhaust hole location?

    I've looked through many builds and did a number of searches but didn't come up with anyone moving the exhaust hole location in the GPR hull. I have a Polaris watercraft that shoots the exhaust into the pump area just like the GPR. I hated all the exhaust coating the parts and constantly cleaning them so I moved the exhaust hole to another location. Has anyone moved their GPR exhaust hole with success?...or has someone come up with like a deflector shield or pipe that directs the exhaust out the back?

    When I had my two stroke motor, I agree, it would coat the pump area sooty black from premix, but when I wash the ski down in the driveway, I would spray it with simple green first prior to washing and it rinses right off.
    Not a big deal for is GPR guys.

    Oh also got my oil cap back from the anodiser, came out pretty nice, made a cutout to match the coil bracket.....

    L C...where did those exhaust outlets come from? I was thinking of seeing if the one from the Polaris skis would work...you can kinda see it in this picture. I think this same area on the GPR hull will be just big enough for it to fit nicely...but I still have to get one to make sure that it will work on the inside of the hull.

    Anybody know how noisy the rear exits are on the GPRs? I do like the idea, but I'm sure Yamaha (and Polaris) did it like they did to quiet the exhaust down. I've noticed that since I've leaned my ski out, there isn't nearly as much soot as there used to be...I can put a couple tanks of gas through it before it has to be wiped down.

    I can remember when my older bro had a kawasaki stand up 80's model (thinkin it was a 550) and the exhaust came out the front of the ski on the side and blew oil all down the side of the ski. Now thats a bad design! I never thought of changing the gpr to the rear but those rear tips look incredible!!
