I have one I bought from watcon last year, but I have since sold my ski. I'll send it to you for $80 and I'll pay the shipping.

I think a driveshaft would be too short. It needs to go through the pump bearings where the stub shaft normally goes to line things up properly. I already thought of that one...using a long shaft with a short pump, still too short from what I can figure.

Was a good thought...I was thinking of the same thing a while ago. Too bad it would be too short. I still need to find me an alignment tool as well. I will have two ski's to align before spring gets here.

What's a fair price for these? Or better yet, what price would one have to beat to be competitive selling them?

I have a nice old manual lathe that's been sitting on my bench for over a year. I really want to fire it up and this might be enough motivation to put it back together and start making some chips on it! The alignment tool would probably be a nice easy starter project.

It will be hard to make on a lathe. You need to have it center-less ground to +/- .0001
